Its been a good while since I've posted, but with good reason. I've had nothing to talk about. Sara and I are going to take a few placement tests tomorrow to try and go ahead and skip into some harder Math and English classes this semester. I made her promise to take at least a few classes with me, to keep me in line about going to class. Haha. Kristen says she's taking a couple night classes but from what I understand they're all just fun classes, nothing for core curriculum. Ah well, to each his own.
I'm looking forward to going back to school this time. Going to attempt to get some "me" time in while I still can, before its too late and I have to work for a living. Hopefully there will be changes. We'll see.
While browsing through PopSci's "Best of What's New 2006" I ran across this in the general innovation category. Kel, you've gotta look at this haha. Show your brother too! lol
Originally designed for recreational thrill seekers, the Gryphon could revolutionize the way paratroopers enter the fray. With the carbon-fiber gliding wing strapped on their backs, soldiers can scream through the air at more than 250 mph—considerably faster than the 25 mph they achieve with a regular chute and a strong tailwind. It also allows them to travel up to 25 miles from their jumping-off point, and its streamlined design makes for a quiet ride that’s difficult to detect by radar. The sturdy wing houses an oxygen supply and steering controls, as well as a “trunk” to stow 110 pounds of weapons and gear. Oh, and a parachute to ensure a soft landing for both jumper and wing.
I got a kick out of it. kekeke

Lol.. Yeah. My boyfriend.
so i can stay at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. This hotel is AMAZING (thanks Travel Channel lawlawl) Dubai is really springing up as a tourist hot spot. [image] its the tallest hotel in the world and its INSANE. EVERY SINGLE ROOM is two stories and no matter what room you're in you have a butler :O! They have a restraunt that is completely surrounded by fish tanks so it looks like you're in a coral reef, its on its own island built just for it, it really is breathtaking. [image]
There are some other amazing things as well they're building there. Example: They made man-made islands and shaped them all like a world map and people can purchase their own little part of the world @_@;; [image]
what will they think of next?
Sara and I took some pictures by the railroad tracks in old town Helena today. It was very beautiful. I want to go back. :)
I posted a couple on my DeviantArt.
So Kel and I went up to see Sabrina, Neil, Nathan, and co! It was really fun :D! We celebrated Sabrina's graduation :3 Check galleries for pics!
On the way back we ran across THE MOST GIGANTIC TIRES EVER! Those are the tires hanging over the side of the18 wheeler that was carrying it. They were so huge it was a wide load :O
Well.. officially 6 days until Kelly is home safe for two weeks! I'm so excited! I've got a lot of ideas of what we can do but i think we'll just spend most of the time hanging out, which i love. I love it when he takes me out on dates hehe! :3 so hopefully there will be more than a couple of those ;)
My dad is really stressed right now about a lot of stuff going on with family. Hopefully my sister goes through withgetting her POS husband locked up. Its my oldest niece's birthday though :O
On a side note: here's a funny video: Enjoy!!!
Tell us about an event that changed your life forever.

The single most important/life changing event in my life would hands down be the death of my mother at age 10. Don't worry, save your "awwwes" I assure you I'm fine now. My father raised me as best he knew how and he did a fine job of it too if you ask me.
Its definitely hard though to not have that female figure in your life. Sure I have an older sister but she's just about as far from a role model as a person can get. Going from a girl to a woman, both physically and mentally, was a daunting experience. They're are always those kinds of things that happen to you a girl just doesn't want to ask daddy. I honestly think thats one of the main roots of me feeling insecure about a lot of things are. I never quite knew what to do about something unless I went and figured it out myself. And tell me, what young teen doesn't doubt their own judgment. Haha. But I made it! Perhaps a bit tomboyish and rough around the edges but for the most part I'm satisfied. As I said before my father did an awesome job of raising me. Definitely my hero. :)
What is your favorite term of endearment?
Submitted by lostdwarf.
My favorite term of endearment would have to be "beebee" (baby the way my boyfriend and I say it lol we're dorks). It was one of those start out typical pet names that we made our own. :)
Both my dad and Kel also call me "Sweetpea". My dad has called me that ever since I can remember and Kel just recently started it, and of his own accord even. Might seem odd that I have the same name from each but it doesn't bother me. I like the name because its warm and loving (not in a romantic way) just like letting a friend know you care about them.
There are a lot of other little silly names I call people/get called. Sometimes I would even classify just a nickname someone has as endearment depending on the circumstances/reasoning behind it. :)
